Overview
Meowth is a normal type cat Pokemon that first appeared in the Kanto region. It has the move Pay Day which scatters coins around the field. Using the move raises the amount of earnings after battle. Unlike typical Galarian Meowth or regular Kantonian Meowth, this Meowth comes in a cherish ball and can Gigantamax.It comes with its signature move, G-Max Gold Rush.
How to obtain the special Meowth

Players who purchased a copy of Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield can receive a Gigantamax Meowth.
Below are few simple steps on how to claim your free Pokemon:
| 1 | Start the game and go through the story to receive the Mystery Gift. |

| 2 | In the overworld, press X and select Mystery Gift. |
| 3 | Select the first option “Get a Mystery Gift.” |
| 4 | Choose the second option, “Get via Internet.” |
| 5 | Tap A once more to select the “Gigantamax Meowth Gift.” |
| 6 | Wait for the animation to finish. |
Return to your game and check your PC to find it.
Event duration
Be sure to claim your Gigantamax Meowth before it’s gone. The event runs until the 15th of January.
