Marks Explained

A new feature in Pokemon Sword and Shield is the ability to obtain Pokemon with marks. Marks have a similar effect to ribbons in that they append a title to a Pokemon. If the Pokemon has a mark, its title will be called out when it is sent into battle. There are no details on the rate of obtaining a Pokemon a mark at the time of writing. Currently, there are 45 known marks in the game.

Dawn “the Early Riser” Comes from a Pokemon that was caught in the morning
Lunchtime “the Peckish” Comes from a Pokemon that was caught in the day time
