Guide for Wyndon Champion Cup Finals Stage (Milo)

The Wyndon Champion Cup is the pokemon league in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. The trainer who wins the semifinals proceeds to the finals stage to face one of the Gym challengers.

Recommended Pokemon

Milo’s team has grown since your last battle with him in Turrfield. He swapped out Gossifleur in favor of new grass types. Your team should be around level 75.

Here are the suggested Pokemon to use against Milo’s team:

• Fire: Arcanine, Cinderace
• Flying: Corviknight
• Poison: Gengar, Salazzle

Milo Finals Stage Battle

• Shiftry/Ludicolo (Lv. 60), Eldegoss (Lv. 60), Bellosom (Lv. 61), Cherrim (Lv. 61), Flapple (Lv. 62)

Milo’s first Pokemon depends on the version you’re playing on. Whichever he sends out, your best bet is to use poison or flying types. A good example is Corviknight because it resists poison moves and can set up with Hone Claws. You may also use Salazzle, a poison type that can also use fire type moves pretty well. If you’re using Salazzle, make sure to knock out Milo’s Pokemon quickly to avoid being paralyzed or getting hit with a powerful attack. After taking out his first Pokemon, you can use Hone Claws or Nasty Plot for a few turns to increase your Pokemon’s attack or special attack. Depending on how it’s trained, Salazzle might only need to dynamax on Milo’s last Pokemon.
