For those looking to pre-purchase a copy Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, the official website announced different pre-order bonuses. Players can choose between a single pack or double pack to receive bonuses.
Players who purchase Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield from the Pokemon Center website will receive one of three starter key chain plushes. When purchasing a copy, the starter key chain plush will be selected at random. The offer is only valid while supplies last.
Meanwhile, players who pre-order a copy of the double pack from the same website will receive all three starter key chain plushes.
The double pack also includes two codes, one for each game, that allow players to redeem special rewards ahead of time. These Dynamax Crystals, which give players a chance to encounter Dynamax Larvitar and Dynamax Jangmo-o.
Players can also purchase the double pack from other websites such as Amazon or Gamestop.
Those who pre-purchase from Amazon will receive a code that allows them to obtain a one-of-a-kind Gold Studded Leather case in-game.
Meanwhile, those who pre-purchase the double pack from Gamestop will also receive a double-sided wall banner.
Each of the following double packs sells for 119.99 USD.
Early Purchase Bonus
Players can also opt to pre-order the digital version of the game from the Nintendo eShop. Those who are able to purchase and install their game by January 15, 2020, will receive a special code that will reward them with 12 Quick Balls. Similar to the Gold Studded Leather case, these are claimed in-game.
The code expires on November 30, 2020, so be sure to claim it during the distribution period.
