The Great Bridge Coup

1) Split your team into two groups

Have Byleth, Seteth, Shamir/Claude, and a priest take the enemies to the northeast and a second group go for enemies to the north. Weaken the armored enemies using magic or bows and then let melee heroes finish them off. Have Shamir or your best archer deal with the archer shooting from behind. The enemy group in the north can be dealt with using a combination of melee and ranged units, preferably with Catherine.

Seteth will be especially effective in this mission because of his exceptional mobility as a wyvern rider. Bringing Shamir along is also advised as she boasts very high ranged damage.

2) Clear out the enemies at the fortress

Use Seteth to quickly take out the enemies positioned at the fortress. It is structure with four openings near the chest to the north. Enemy reinforcements will not appear once you have cleared it out.

You can also quickly move Byleth towards the fortress by having one your priest unit use rescue. This teleports Byleth next to the support unit without having to use up his turn to move.

3) Prepare for an ambush

You will be ambushed by Acheron and alliance forces during the enemy’s second turn. You can easily take out Acheron and his troops with your second squad since they have low HP and defense.

4) Approach Ladislava as a team

Move your units towards Ladislava, with Byleth and Seteth leading the charge. You will have to defeat the demonic beast blocking the path. If Shamir/Claude is within range, have her pepper the beast with ranged attacks before attacking it using Setheth and Byleth. After attacking, move Seteth back a few tiles as Ladislava is likely to come at you when you are busy dealing with the beast.

Once you have dealt with the demonic beast, focus all combat arts on Ladislava. Your best archer’s heavy draw attack will take out a considerable amount of her HP, allowing you to finish her off.

5) Approach Lorenz/Ferdinand as a team

Head for the bridge and prepare to engage Lorenz/Ferdinand and his troops. Unlike before, Byleth should not lead the charge. Have Seteth or any of your most powerful melee units stand in front as you cross the bridge. Byleth should be directly behind to attack Lorenz with the extended range of the Sublime Creator Sword or heal the melee unit in front of him. Lorenz should go down fairly easily. Take out the imperial general behind him to clear the mission.
