Character Preset Classes in Cindered Shadows

As confirmed on the official Fire Emblem JP Twitter page, the Cindered Shadows DLC will have playable characters in preset classes during the new story missions. Below are information on characters from the original game whose assigned classes have been revealed in the DLC’s trailers and official material.

Byleth

In the official trailer, Byleth can be seen assigned the Swordmaster class. A screenshot posted on the official Fire Emblem JP Twitter also revealed the lower tier classes Commoner, Mercenary, and Priest already available to him.

Towards the end of the video, Byleth was shown adopting the Sniper class. It is currently unknown how this class is unlocked in the DLC’s story missions.

Dimitri

Dimitri appeared preset to the Paladin class in the video. He can be seen taking significant damage against Balthus, a new character belonging to the fourth “secret house” called the Ashen Wolves.

Edelgard

Edelgard is preset to the Fortress Knight class, based on the trailer. An additional screenshot from the game’s official JP Twitter account also revealed her class’ abilities. When translated, these are HP +5, Res +2, Weight -3, and Model Leader.

Also in the video was Edelgard fighting against Hapi, another new character and member of the Ashen Wolves.

Hilda

Hilda‘s preset class in the trailer is Warrior and was shown suffering heavy damage against Yuri. The latter is yet another new character and is the leader of the Ashen Wolves.

Linhardt

Shown near the end of the video is Linhardt adopting what could be an advanced spellcaster class, possibly the Warlock or Bishop.

Ashe

While revealed as one of the playable characters in the Cindered Shadows DLC, it is currently unknown what preset class Ashe will have.
