Fire Emblem: Three Houses - Walkthrough and Strategy Guide

Overview

Forging weapons enables players to reinforce or remake them. After forging, the weapon will have the “+” symbol next to its name and receive a boost in stats. The changes will vary depending on the weapon being forged. For instance, some weapons will have added Might (Mt) but will retain their weight. Meanwhile, forging others will cause them to decrease in weight. In combat, a forged weapon comes in handy as it grants higher damage without sacrificing the unit’s attack speed.

We will update this list once Fire Emblem: Three Houses releases on July 26, 2019.

How to forge weapons

To get started, go to the market and interact with the blacksmith. For basic forging, you need to have the necessary materials called smithing stones to forge the weapon and some gold. On the other hand, rare weapons such as the Sword of the Creator will require an Umbral Steel.

How to obtain smithing stones

The materials required to forge a weapon can be obtained as a reward from doing quests, collected during exploration, or by completing group tasks. After your students complete a session, you’ll earn some smithing stones for their efforts. Your reward will depend on their performance.

Performance Smithing Stones
Good 3
Perfect 5

Repair weapons

You can tell if a weapon is broken when its durability reaches 0. While still usable, broken weapons are no longer effective during combat. Similar to forging, you can bring broken weapons to the blacksmith to have them repaired. You’ll need smithing stones to repair a weapon.

  1. Steel weapons into Steel (wep)+ takes 10 stones, plus an amount of gold.
Repairs take about 1 stone per 20% durability lost, roughly.
de-rusting a rusted weapon takes 2 stones, some gold. ALSO!
Some rusted weapons can be things like Silver weapons, so check descriptions of what they clean into
