Character Classes Set to Appear in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Fire Emblem: Three Houses is due for release on July 26. Ahead of its anticipated launch, Famitsu has revealed six classes confirmed to appear in the awaited tactical role-playing game.
Unlike previous titles in the series, Fire Emblem: Three Houses will feature a flexible character class system that allows units to change their current class by passing Certification Exams. Past games required the use of various special items, leveling-up, visiting specific locations, or other similar methods to do so.

Lord characters are the natural leaders of armies. They possess charisma, which grants friendly units a significant increase in damage when they are nearby.
Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude are so far the only characters confirmed to start out with this class.
Thief

A deadly combination of skill and speed, the Thief class can steal items from enemies in combat. They can also open doors and treasure chests without using keys.
Knight

Knights are the vanguards of every army, boasting high defense to halt the advance of their foes. They do not, however, learn any martial skills.
Pegasus Knight

Pegasus Knights possess high mobility and are able to traverse lakes and mountains on the battlefield. Along with having naturally excellent evasion, they can move after performing an action as long as they have enough power. The class is exclusive to female characters.
Archer

Archers are specialists in ranged combat. They can extend the distance covered by their bows with their inherent skill.
Priest

Priests support combat-focused units with their array of white magic. When leveled-up, Priests will be able to constantly heal their allies with stronger spells during the thick of a skirmish.
