Reclaiming the Capital Strategy
1) Defeat Cornelia
Plenty of Titanus roam the middle section. You need to navigate through the narrow path to uncover a vantage point. Split the party into two with Byleth and Dimitri leading the charge on the upper middle section. Meanwhile, have the rest of the members pick off the enemies on the left. Take out enemy mages and soldiers as you move along, taking care not to draw the Titanus’ attention. Push through and have Byleth defeat the armored unit while the rest can deal with the magic units. Make sure to heal allies that need it to prevent any unwanted deaths from the Viskam. When you reach the top left side, dispatch a flier to handle any soldier lying ion the corner then pick up the kill next turn.
Place your units close together, with Byleth on the frontlines to lure the Titanus. Initiate with Dimitri and execute a combat art on the nearest Titanus. Have other units send out their attacks, focusing on mounted units to exploit their hit and run tactics. You should be able to deplete two health stocks from the Titanus. Another one will come after you, so take out the first by channeling your attacks on it. Your party should finalize by having Byleth and Dimitri occupying the tiles closest to the approaching Titanus. Heal your party afterward. Like before, do the same combination of attacks for the second Titanus.
While the rest of the party keeps the pair of Titanus busy with heals, send Dimitri to sneak past them. Have him take out the nearby unit along the way. After a few turns, he can close in and strike Cornelia to finish the mission.
2) Defeat the thief
A thief will appear halfway through the battle in the southwest section of the battlefield. Position a unit there to take him out. You will obtain the Tathlum bow for defeating him.
