The Magdred Ambush Battle Strategy
1) Low Visibility Map
The battlefield is filled with fog, making it harder to see enemies from a distance. Be wary of enemies who will ambush you and make sure your units are close to each other.
Enemies will come from the left and upper portions of the map, so it is best to place your archers and mages behind your tankier units to the lower right to avoid getting hit by close-range opponents.
2) Catherine at the Front
Before you advance any further, let Catherine be at the front since she is the strongest unit in your party. However, since she is an ally unit, you cannot control her actions and she will move after the enemies finish their turn. Have your heavy hitters near Catherine to assist her in obliterating opponents on the battlefield.
3) Defeating Lonato
Let Catherine take care of the other enemy units while you march toward Lonato. Catherine’s immense attack power can overwhelm the Armored Knight defending the boss, who is quite difficult to deal with using your units. Edelgard and Byleth will be able to take down Lonato in one or two turns, but you should have a healer around them since the boss can deal heavy damage.
