An advanced class in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, dark fliers are powerful magic units that can glide across maps with ease. Dark fliers are unique in that they combine traits of infantry mages with fliers. That being said, they can prey on low resistance foes like heavy armored units and take on opposing magic classes because of their own resistance. The pegasus knight can graduate to become a dark flier.

Being flying units, dark fliers can’t afford to stay close to archers and will appreciate having allies that can rid the map of them. Place dark fliers on tiles that can’t be reached by archers and have them nuke any armored units that are out of the archers’ range.
