Guide about the Abyss’ Influencer
The influencer is an NPC that unlocks more quests and areas in the Abyss. The influencer appears as an old man dressed in a cloak, which is akin to the artisan in Garreg Mach’s church. Similar to reaping effects from the saint statues, the influencer accepts renown and will unlock new features.
How to unlock the Influencer
In the main game, look for the “Shifty Merchant” who is stationed near Byleth’s quarters. Talk to them and ask to be taken to the Abyss.
The underground doesn’t have much to offer at the start but you can look for the influencer, an NPC on Burrow Street, to help you get started.
Renown
You can earn some renown after finishing objectives in the main story. However, another alternative is to offer tribute to the Pagan Altar to claim some renown. Select some items such as spare ingredients or other things you no longer need to exchange them for renown.
Undertakings
Visit the influencer and spend renown to unlock new activities. While you’re at it, swing by the bulletin board to monitor the progress of new quests. You might find some useful rewards after meeting certain milestones.
