Fire Emblem: Three Houses’ Cindered Shadows DLC is due for release tomorrow on February 12, 2020. With just hours before the expansion comes out, more information on new classes has been revealed yet again on the official Fire Emblem JP Twitter account. Today, we have more details on the new Valkyrie class.

According to the rough translation, the Valkyrie is a female-only, magic-oriented class that specializes in dark magic. Similar to the dark flier, the valkyrie comes as a mounted class with access to spells that rely on reason.

The new riding class acquires two class skills that promote her range which are “Black Magic Range +1” and “Dark Magic Range +1.”

The valkyrie benefits from Canto, a skill shared among riding classes, which allows them to move one more time after performing an action in the player phase. Having this trait in tandem with its class skills, gives the valkyrie a chance to pick off enemies through hit and run.
