An advanced class in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, valkyries are female-exclusive cavalry units that excel in different forms of magic. They can pick between support or offense to suit the team’s needs. What sets them apart from other classes like Bishops and Dark Bishops is there proficiency in riding and high speed, which helps them catch up on other mounted units and distant allies. Compared to other support units, valkyries can opt to draw magic damage away from allies despite their lower resistance.

Stats

Valkyries start off slow due to their low magic proficiency which can be ineffective in early skirmishes, so you need to adjust the board positioning to help them grow. In combat, look for vantage points on the map and don’t expose them to multiple enemies at once. While they can tank some magic damage, they’re better off drawing enemies one by one because of their lackluster defenses.

Requires an Abyssian Exam Pass for the certification exam.
