This guide is a 7/10, I only follow it to max out social links and social stats, I’ve seen a lot of people get mad over the guide, either some of you don’t know what your talking about, or think the best personas have anything to do with everything, and people having issues with the social links:

   Tips:

   Always get the matching arcana when your doing a social link,
   Save whenever you can because if you do something wrong, it can set you back tons of hours of gameplay,
   You don’t need to follow the equipment/Persona guides, they’re just there to help you, not to 100%,
   If your social stats are wrong somehow, reload your save and look at the guide more carefully, if it’s definitely wrong, there are varying differences over different versions of the game, for example the English version has different phrased responses for social links, so you might have to switch guides unfortunately, basically setting your progress to 0% (however this hasn’t been the case for me.)
   If your trying to get a certain persona, use the search fusion.

14. Im just going to be blunt, as a source of information about the game, this website it golden, but as far as a walkthrough, i would recommend going to gamefaqs guide, its better. I dont follow to a t personally, because i like doing my own thing when it makes sense, but it does something this guide does not, gets you Temperance Confidant in may, and maxed out by the mid-july. Waiting to finish a palace when a confidant is gated behind that palace doesnt make sense to me. I love the website for all the other information, but the walkthrough is nonsensical

15. So I’m seeing a lot of comments about this guide running 3 romance options being Ohra, Ann and Takemi. I have seen the comments about how to fix them. My only concern is that I won’t reach max stats (I already followed the rules and guide of this, I’m currently On 5/20 and so far I haven’t seen complications minus the fact that I’m going to skip Sojiro’s confidant to watch a movie to increase my guts by 2). I wanted to ask if this guide is ideal since I’m supposed to max stats at the end of summer (which is July), afterwards i want to focus on the remaining confidants. Also this is my first playthrough of Persona 5 or Royal to be specific. My first Persona game was 3 (couldn’t buy 4 sadly). Any tips? Oh and if you guys have a link for another guide that’s 100% accurate in maxing out Confidants and stats that’d be super helpful.

16. So Idk how but I’m behind on Takemi I’m rank 6 not 7 and I can’t get the adhesive because of this am I screwed or can I just live on and get her rank 7 next time?

    • Its probably because you don’t have a persona in the lovers confident so your not getting the extra points. I did same thing in original persona 5 too. You can always catch up near the end but it will take extra time at the end.

17. I’m having an issue 5/1 where it says to apply for a flower shop job but sadly the flower shop is not an available option. Only 777, Rafflesia, and Ore no Beko so I skipped this.

    • Ann is at the classroom, sitting. You dont have to get councilor on this particular day, since you are going to mementos next day and grind to level up

19. somebody please take a look at 7/26!! SANDMAN!!! YOU CANT MAKE/TRAIN HIM AND USE HIM ON THAT DAY!!! and explain how we are supposed to make sandman, put him in training while we are in mementos and pull him back out before finishing mementos?!?!?!? THAT MAKE COMPLETELY NO SENSE!!! how can i put sandman in training and level him up to 40 luck if i need him to confuse the bosses of the missions THAT I HAVE TO DO DURING THAT MEMNTOS INFLITRATION. this is literally driving me crazy trying to explain and making me so frustrated. you cannot create a sandman. train him for momentos without leaving momentos. training does not advance unless the day advaces. and this is a day by day guide. im beyond frustrated at whoever made this guide to the point of fist fighting/ and tears.

20. Hey, I’m confused on something. According to this guide, it says to fuse Apsaras and Berith before entering the palace… but you can only get Apsaras in the palace. What gives?

    • I fused Mokoi and Apsaras to get the Jack Frost with Mabufu. I was also confused why it said Berith.

21. Hi! I would like to romance other confidant that are not ann or takem. Maybe makoto or Futuba. Will i encounter a problem if ever i follow this author?

    • Hello, yes. You can run into a problem following this guide if you decide not to romance both Ann and Takemi, but there’s a solution.

      I’m pasting a solution that I took from another commenter who goes by the pseudonym “Kurosu.”

      Here you go:

      For Ann

      I found a solution to the ann problem. Tested it myself just now. The cost will be 1 twin hangout ( you dont really need them its just skill cards) and the unlocking of Shinagawa ( a hangout spot)
      On 7/29 instead of Akechi-Devil event go with Ann to the museum. You will get +2 from dialogues but it wont be enough.Therefore buy truffles from the mall just before you talk with her and you will get +3 and will be able to rank up.
      Important note : The 29/7 eventgives +5 points to Justice and + 3 to devil. However devil is already ready to rank up to 2 and devil needs 3 points to rank to 4. So dont worry about it.7/30 rank Ann to level 10 in the day, go Akechi at evening ( +3 points to justice).
      8/2 rank up With Akechi as normal at the evening
      on 8/3 Instead of going with the twins go do the Star rank up that you missed on 7/30 to prepare Akechi.Overall you would have traded the twin hangout at 8/3 with Ann rank 10. However I will once again note that this will also cost the unlocking of Shinagawa which would happen if you went with akechi at 29/7. The guide does ask you to go there with Kasumi at December but it says its OPTIONAL and probably is in order to get a gift.
      Extra note : I later found out you can unlock the aquarium by reading a book that is already available. Simply replace on the stat books at early octomber ( you will have max stats anyways)
      You dont need truffles for Ann after all. The third response at museum gives 3 points if you have a lovers persona. You wont even get the option to give a gift because you will be set.
      3) I found another way to unlock Shinagawa , through a book from the bookstore. As for the time needed to buy it, the guide maxes most stats by the end of summer and yet suggests to keep reading stat books when you have free time ( train – class etc). This is probably in order to get the thieve’s den ach to read 40 books. Just replace one of those reads with the one that unlocks the hangout. One good example is early octomber when the guide asks to reach some kindness book ( which is already maxed).
      So in the end you will only delay a twin hangout which might even be possible to do in the fall that has a lot of free evenings ( at least it did in persona 5)

      For Takemi

      I actually think I found the solution to the problem with Takemi.
      8/13, choose friend route.8/14 same8/15, make sure that makoto is at the darts game to get that 1 extra point, otherwise this will not work.8/16, spend time with makoto and instead of takemi at do big bang challenge. It gets you all those big stat buffs earlier than what is anticipated but it all adds up as when you take again you’ll get the bonus gut points. Which makes up for not doing evening takemi8/17 same8/18, you’ll have enough knowledge and kindness to do without nostalgic steak based off my math. hang out with takemi at tsukishima, pick “go easy on me”. Results I’m “bond will grow”.8/19 same8/20 Rank up makoto, use the answers from the 9/20 day in the September guideEverything else is exactly the same until 9/20. At which point you can do the last level of Takemi.This keeps all nesscerary stat points for rank ups before needed while still getting Takemi to 10. I hope this helps.

22. To my fellow comrades who have been following this guide, I have a suggestion on how to grind your level after you secure infiltration route. (and also farm your money to 500k+)

    first, make sure you obtain that atom ring (free Frei skill) from this palace treasure (forget which one), attach it to any other person beside your Joker.
    second, obtain or fuse Shiisaa persona.
    third, i don’t know if its necessary but it certainly makes your life easier, but if you’ve been following this guide, up to this point, you already had SP Adhesive 3 accessory, equip it to your Joker and rotate it to your other party member who wears Atom Ring.

    then head to Museum 1st Exhibition Room, go outside and reach the path leading to the second floor. on your way to second you should be meeting with 2 enemy patrolling with the second enemy is Shiki-Ouji (level 18) whose weakness is Nuke. utilize your frei -> all out attack for 3 times and make sure other party members guarding. it should be pretty low after. than hit again with frei but this time you talk and ask him for money. than adjust accordingly. I get around 500k gold and grind until my joker is level 22 and other party members are level 21.

    tl;dr : farm and grind by utilizing Frei and Atom Ring in Shiki-Ouji (level 18).

    • I found this out on my own as well on my first infiltration. Farmed it until I was out of SP (without using items)on both infiltrations and got to lvl 25. May have been overkill but I figured why waste SP. it also helps to have atomic bloodline on Shiisaa (not sure if that’s standard or not, but mine happened to have it).

24. On 5/22 you do not get kindness(1) when going to the drink stand you get guts(1)

    • on 5/6, it says that I have to “Summon or fuse for a Councillor Arcana persona (can be Kusi Mitama)”, but all Councillor personas are locked. This later on becomes troublesome as I am unable to level up Maruki from level 3 to 4 on 5/23

26. Does this guide not try to make time for you buying upgrades for your armor? Like literally if you’re on a higher difficulty, our base armor isn’t going to last. Plus it never makes time to wash armor.

    • i’m playing on merciless & surprisingly haven’t needed to change equips….with 3x damage for hitting a weakness (goes for you as well), it’s easy to score one hits on this difficulty. also makes grinding faster with 20% extra exp. i was level 21 before leaving on the 18th. haven’t really died much either.

    • The guide doesn’t expect you to romance any individual one. You can romance them all, just one, or none. It wont affect the guide

      • Actually this is false. The guide romances Ann, Takemi and Ohya.The last one can easily be fixed but the first 2 have caused insane problems for the players. If you take a look at July and August pages you will see the comments saying so.
        However I have writen a workaround for Ann in July page and another player found a workaround for takemi. Find our comments and you will be solid.Ohya doesnt causes the same amount of trouble because it can easily be fixed with an affinity boost ( I made such a comment in november page).
        If you DONT read the comments and go only with the guide you will not rank up Ann and Takemi to level 10 on the mentioned days without romancing them.

    • On 5/23, I am supposed to meet Takuto Maruki, the guide says it’s supposed to increase the confidant level from 3 to 4. (I am level 18), I am still unable to create or fuse councillor personas so it won’t let me level up

29. Small tip for grinding in Madarame’s palace – instead of the spot mentioned here I recommend running to the Treasure Hall Lounge from the Central Garden save point. Starts with a Shiki-Ouji (great for grinding money!) and has 2 Nue encounters for exp.

34. Just a heads up, you need to be level 16 before you leave the palace on 5/18. After the battle on 5/19 you have a forced exit and so you can’t battle to level up at all. Thankfully, I had a save right at the end of 5/18 so I didn’t lose too much time.

    • You can always get 3 lockpicks, but you may be able to get 4 or 5. It wants you to keep reloading until you get at least 4. It’s purely RNG.

38. hi, just found your guide and have a question, on 5/1 it says pick up a part time job at flower shop to upgrade kindness to rank 2, but i dont have that option, on another guide on this same website, it says to unlock flower shop job you need to alrdy have rank 2 kindness. am i doing something wrong?

    • You should be able to pick up the job – it just says Rafflesia

39. This guide is very helpful! I’d like to suggest, though, adding that Ryuji can be found in the Shibuya arcade on 5/22 to hang out. I had to look around for him until I found him, you have to go to the arcade manually, you can’t initiate the hangout from your phone.

42. Hello, @Ersatz Ifrit, could you (or anyone) confirm me if this guide is oriented toward a harem route or a platonic (leaving us the choice of romancing who we want) one?
    I’m stuck at 27/05 with the romance choice for takemi, I quickly check forward to check and saw people strugling with the rank 10 with Ann because they didn’t choose to romance her.
    I don’t mind going for the harem route, but I just want to know if you offer a choice in that regard or not.

    2. I didn’t have enough money to buy the Japanese gift set on 2/29

44. here is a tip that helps out a LOT because I got punished for not doing it a few times. Save during the evening of each day. I made some mistakes and had to redo a bit of the game because I messed up and didn’t save before hand.

    • In 5/19 you can’t fuse nothing after of the battle boss, and it’s not necesary a sun persona to up this confident.

    • You can’t fuse before entering anyway. Since there’s no Shadows on 5/16, 5/18’s infiltration is your first chance to obtain Apsaras

46. Is it necessary to keep buying SP items if you have the DLC? The Camera strap pretty much keeps you from ever having to refill SP as long as you keep ambushing enemies. Not to mention you get a bunch of SP items from the DLC as well. Like is making the coffee my best option? Do I need the points with Sojiro?

    • I just finished 2nd palace and I have not purchase more than 5 just each just in case, same with moist protein and TV purchases that contain only HP and SP items

    Yeah, great that it can be Suzaku, really helpful. Except it is lvl 16, and by progressing normally (killing everything once), I’m lvl 15! You never mentioned in the guide that we will need to be 16! If this messes up the progression, I will need to bond with Sun an additional time!

      • Except that’s impossible. There are two scripted battles and the story boots you from the palace automatically. It should have said on the 5/18 infiltration to be level 16 since it is impossible to grind on the 19th.

    • its +3 Regardless. Basically the concept is that you get +2 when you craft lockpicks ( regardless of number probably but everyone goes for maximum anyways) and a +1 when you craft extra through a proc. The number of the extras is irrelevant.

52. would also like to add on 5/31 with the shadow negotiation fundraising you can farm a lot of money by constantly asking for more after you are finished with the palace and grinding for level 21. i easily made around 15-20k per battle with this. Knock all shadows down until one is left, ask for money, and then when they attack hit them till they have very low health and then you can ask for money again (sometimes worth more the second time) you can rinse repeat this when a new shadow gets summoned. just a tip to help others low on cash

    • Its pure RNG, but yes it is possible. I dont know the exact % though.

    • It is possible to dodge it. I assume the chance to dodge increases per rank with rank1 being 0% (why the April guide said it was unavoidable) Just keep at it and hopefully Joker will dodge it

    • Dude are you for real ? You made 3 comments within 12 minutes as a “different person” saying the exact same thing about catching up. Dont spam .

      That aside, there seems to be no “iddle” day in the guide ( which makes sense) so I suppose you have to either adapt to your situation or load an earlier save if there is one. However the numbers are extremely small, I cant imagine this will be that much of an issue.

    • Greetings , I think hedoes says the recommeneded levels actually.To be precice he recommends level 11 before ending kamoshida (before calling card), level 16 for first section of madarame ( in order to fuse sun persona) and level 21 for the second section (for faith persona), this is also before the calling card.

68. I suggest getting rid of every single “quote” for the questions and just leave the option number. Some of them are wrong and will only mislead or confuse the players using the guide. Mistakes could be made which would cause them to have to waste time reloading over and over again.

          • I don’t understand why is needed to grind until level 21 ALL characters when:
            If the objective is the faith arcana fusion, only main charscter is needed.
            And the first Faith requirement is after the boss battle and a memento incursion, so is not necessary to have it on 5/31
