Atavaka

Atavaka is a persona modeled after a god in Buddhism.

Atavaka was formerly a child-eating nature spirit that inhabited the forest of Atavl. Buddha eventually confronted Atavaka. After Atavaka’s conversion, the baby that was brought to him as a sacrifice was spared and eventually became one of the Buddha’s disciples.

In mahayana tradition, Atavaka is called the wisdom king. Atavaka appears to have countless depictions, ranging from having one head with multiple arms, to multiple heads and even more arms. Wrath and flames emanate from his body.
