Cognitive Wakaba Isshiki Boss Battle

It is recommended to bring some Relax Gel for the fight to cure Despair. While Makoto can remove the effect from allies with Energy Shower, she can be afflicted with Despair herself.

Having the main character equip a Persona that can reflect physical attacks is effective against the boss. To raise the chances of the boss attacking him, craft the spotlight infiltration tool. Another method is to use Physical Ointment.

If you manage to raise the main character’s level to 35, he will be able to use Arahabaki to reflect physical attacks. Try to acquire it before challenging the boss.

Morgana and Makoto will be extremely helpful in the fight to heal your party and cure Dizziness and Despair.

The first phase of the battle starts with the boss flying in the air and is only  prelude to the real battle. You will be healed of any damage you sustain when the real fight begins afterwards. Focus on healing and raising your defense until the boss uses Rapid Ascent. Guard against the attack to reduce damage from Sphinx Dive.

An event will occur after the boss uses Sphinx Dive. Your party’s HP and SP will also be fully healed at the start of the real battle. A ballista can also be operated by one member of the party to force the boss to the ground. You will be able to perform physical attacks on the boss for three turns when it is downed.

Have Morgana and Makoto ready to heal the party and remove status ailments. Use Energy Shower or Relax Gel to remove despair as soon as possible when the boss uses Dreadful Scream.

The boss will talk to the main character during battle. Replying correctly allows Futaba to block an incoming attack and damage the boss.
