Kaneshiro Palace Infiltration Guide

First Infiltration Phase: Bank Infiltration

Enter the bank and there will be two guards that block your way. A cutscene will commence, allowing you to go further inside the bank. Head right and go down the hallway ahead. Follow the instructions of the guards in the area and avoid picking a fight on them.

A cutscene will play after you get inside the room the guards escorted you to. After the cutscene, you will face two Oni. They are resistant to Physical and Gun attacks, so use elemental attacks against them. Once you defeat the two Oni, there will be another pair of Oni that you need to defeat. there will another set of enemies after clearing the second wave, but the party will choose to run away.

Walk straight ahead and head toward the exit after the cutscene ends. Two guards will stop you before reaching the exit. Makoto will join you in the fight against two Oni and one Sui-Ki after the cutscene. Sui-Ki is weak to Nuke attacks, so use Makoto’s Nuke skills to easily win the fight. Defeat the enemies to clear the first phase.

Second Infiltration Phase: Deep Inside the Bank

Since the entrance of the bank is now locked, you will have to find a new path inside. Examine the big pig statue to the right to start a conversation between you and your party members. The protagonist will push the plate in front of the statue and open a secret path. Go inside the new path and you will be sent to an unexplored area of the bank. Head to the back until you find a staircase. Go up the stairs.

Head back to the first floor and go to the hallway to the right. This hallway is what you used in the first phase. Watch out for the guards roaming around the area. You can either fight them or sneak past them. Go to the hallway on the right and head left. There is a chest at the end of the hallway where you can get an item. After getting the item, head back to the first hallway and proceed to the right. A guard will use an elevator, hinting that there is another floor in the bank that you have not explored yet. However, you can’t use the elevator yet.

Proceed straight ahead and watch for the guards. There is a chest to the right of the staircase near some benches, although there is a guard patrolling the area. Defeat the guard and open the chest. Go up the stairs and you will find a Dog Shadow. You will need to defeat an Orthrus if you choose to fight the Dog Shadow. Orthrus is weak to Ice, so use Bufu attacks against it.

After defeating the shadow, head straight. You will see several platforms that you can jump onto. Jump onto the platforms and crawl inside the secret passage. A short conversation will commence once you reach the end of the path. There is a guard inside the CCTV room. Ambush it and you will face four Orobas. Orobas is weak to Electric attacks.

Head outside then go to the right. After getting to the area where you went up to the platforms, go to the left and take out the guard patrolling the hallway. Open the door to the right and head inside the elevator maintenance room. Head down the opened grate and wait for the elevator to move. Once it moves, crawl through the small passage. After getting through the passage, walk through the railings then find an area where you can jump down.

Head to the left then right and you will find a door that leads to a safe room. After using the safe room, head to the right and walk straight ahead. There will be security cameras along the way, so be careful. Once you reach the end of the hallway, there is a switch that you can break to disable the security cameras.

Proceed to the door to the left and take out the guard patrolling the hallway on the left. Take out another guard blocking the path ahead. After defeating them, head to the right of the hallway instead of going straight ahead at the forked path. You will see a guard that is glowing red. Defeat this guard and proceed to the door to the right. Break the switch in the room then head back to the room where you fought the glowing guard. Proceed to the other side of the forked path and defeat the guards that are patrolling the area. Go straight ahead and enter the room where you can break the second switch. Open the chest inside the room before breaking the switch. Then, go back to the other end of the hallway.

Head to the door to the left, and you will see that the security cameras in the room are already disabled. Go up the stairs then proceed straight ahead. There is a room ahead before taking a right turn where you can get three money bags, but there are security cameras in the way. Head to the left then proceed towards the straight path. Break the switch to your back once you’re at the closed gate, then go back to the room where the money bags are. After collecting the money bags, head back to the closed gate and use the key card to open it. You are now able to use the safe room again since the gate in the area has opened.

Proceed to the door near the switch and go to another door straight ahead. Head to another door to the north and a short conversation will occur. Head straight until you reach the end of the room to defeat the guard patrolling to the left. After defeating the guard, proceed to the left to find security cameras activating. Now you need to know where the switches are to deactivate the cameras.

Go back to the hallway where you took out the guard. There will be several platforms that you can jump on to reach a secret passage. Crawl through the passage, collect the money bag, and jump down. There is another platform at the other end of the hallways where you can jump down to another area. Jump down and defeat the guard patrolling the area.

After defeating the guard, proceed straight ahead and open the chest. Head towards the straight path and you will see a vault. After seeing the bolt proceed ahead and you will notice that you are at the bottom of the area where the security cameras are. Head towards the linear path to the left until you see a switch that requires a key card. There is also a chest to the right before heading towards the opened door.

Once you get the item inside the chest, go to the door to the left then jump up the platform to go inside the locked room, you can find two switches here that you can break to disable the security cameras. Go out of the room using your key card then proceed to the door that you’ve opened before. Head to the center of the hallway and a cutscene will commence.

It seems that the guards inside the door have the keys to open the vault. After the scene, you will be transported to the CCTV room and another cutscene will play. One guard holding the key will go to the CCTV room. This is your chance to defeat it.

Mini-Boss Fight: Fuu-Ki

This mini-boss is quite troublesome to deal with if you don’t know how to take advantage of its weaknesses. It absorbs wind attacks, so don’t use any Wind attacks against him. However, you can use Electric attacks since that is its weakness. You can also use attacks that inflict Sleep, as the boss is susceptible to it.

Defeating the Mini-Boss gives you one of the two keys. You will be transported to the hallways where you last were and you will now have to deal with the last guard.

Mini-Boss Fight: Sui-Ki

As stated before, Sui-Ki is weak to Nuclear attacks, so some of Makoto’s skills can be used against him to make the battle much easier. You can also inflict Sleep against it, much like Fuu-Ki.

Once you defeat the last Mini-Boss, you can now open the vault at the bottom of the area. Head towards the vault.

Third Infiltration Phase: Inside the Vault

Once you get inside the vault, there will be a straight path towards the door at the end of the hallway. Go through the door, then head down the stairs to the right and you will find several money bags, collect the money bags then proceed to the other set of stairs to the left of where you came from then open the door to the left. The hallways have security cameras that turn on and off, so pay attention as to what camera is on before proceeding ahead.

Proceed towards the door at the end of the path, then head to the elevator to the left. After using the elevator, there will be a Dog Shadow guarding the chest straight ahead. Defeat the shadow and open the chest. After getting the item, head to the hallway on the left.

After a brief cutscene, go down the stairs to the right. Take out the guard patrolling the stairs and proceed down the path. There will be several guards at the bottom of the area. You can either take them out or hide from them. Proceed to the elevator at the bottom and a short cutscene will play.

Mini-Boss Fight: Kin-Ki

Kin-Ki is weak to Psy, so use your Psy skills against him to make the battle much easier. It is also resistant to Physical and Gun attacks, so refrain from attacking him using these types of moves. He is accompanied by a Sui-Ki and a Fuu-Ki, so take them out first before dealing with Kin-Ki.

After defeating the boss, proceed to the hallway to your back and you’ll be inside a safe room. After using the room, head inside the elevator to move to one the lowest floors of the bank.

Once the elevator stops, you will need a passcode in order to get into the vault. The passcode is 0102.

After inputting the passcode, head to the door to the left to enter a safe room. Use the room and proceed to the hallway next to the panel where you inputted the passcode. Next, go to the left and enter through the door.

Take out the dog shadow and proceed to the left. There will be some guards as you make your way toward the center of the O-Shaped path. Once you’re at the other end of the path, open the door to open the chest and get the key inside the pig statue.

After getting the items, proceed to the left then head left again and go to the right. Head toward the linear path until you come across a panel that needs a passcode. The passcode is 0931.

Proceed to the newly opened path and go through the door. Head toward the linear path and go through another door. You will come across several electric fences, so go back to the area where you opened the last door and look to your left. Jump up the platform and crawl through the small passage. Jump over several platforms so you can open the chest in the center of the room. After getting the Peacemaker weapon, crawl through the small passage to the right. Proceed to the left and open the door.

You will see a big pig statue to the right. Open the statue and you will get a clue for the next passcode. Go back out and go up the stairs. Take out the shadow along the way. Then proceed to the path where there are security cameras that turn on and off. At the end of the path is a switch so that you can use to disable the cameras. After breaking the switch, go up the stairs in the back and proceed toward the big pig statue to the right. Another clue will be given to you about the passcode.

After getting the clue, proceed to the right and walk straight ahead. There will be a panel where you need to input a passcode. The passcode is 2319.

Once you input the passcode, another path will open at the vaults. You will be transported to the newly opened door. Proceed down the path and a guard shadow will be waiting for you at the end.

Mini-Boss Fight: Take-Minakata

Take-Minakata is weak to Psy, so use your Psy skills against him. He reflects Electric attacks, so don’t use Ryuji against this boss. He is accompanied by two Oni, but those are much easier to deal with. Don’t use Physical and Gun attacks against them and you’ll easily defeat them.

After defeating the boss, proceed toward the panel. This panel moves the vaults for each row. Once you press left in the first panel, the second panel will be able to be used in the next row. Press the button on the second panel, then go back to the first panel and press right. Once you’ve entered the right combination, go to the opened path and open the door at the end.

Proceed to the left room. Take out the guard shadow before proceeding to the chest. Go straight ahead and then go down the stairs to take out the guard shadow. After defeating the guard, break the switch at the end of the straight path and proceed to the right. In the big room, head to the opposite wall, but watch out for several guards patrolling the area. There is also a treasure chest at the top of one of the shelves. You can jump on several platforms to get to it.

Jump over several platforms so that you can get to the small passage in the lower-left corner of the area. Go out of the passage and you will find a panel to the right. The passcode is 1841.

Once you input the passcode, the vault in the final row will open. Proceed down the newly opened path and use the elevator. A boss battle will commence after a short cutscene.

  1. Are there really only three locked chests? I mean, I only found three, everybody is saying that there are four per palace.

    • I was wondering about that too.
I could only find 3 lock treasure chest. I wasted my sp just going around the whole bank again just to see if I missed anything but still can’t find the fourth one. So I guess there only 3?

  2. I don’t know if this is a dumb comment but does anyone know what you’re supposed to do if you say you’re not yet ready for the battle in the control room? My party was low on SP at the point I got to the cutscene so I wanted to return to save beforehand, but now I can’t actually get to the control room? Every time I try to approach or examine it I get a “We might get caught, let’s get out of here!” comment from Morgana and can’t fight them, even days later.

  3. You mentioned that the enemy Orobas is weak to Electric skills. However, the weakness is actually Bless attacks.
The actual game and the link next to it suggests the same thing so you might want to fix that.
Thanks for the guide, keep up the good work : )
