Optimize SP Usage While in the Battle

It is important to learn how to optimize the usage of SP during battles. Here are our suggestions:

1) Make Use of Status Ailments

Status Ailments are essential, especially when dealing with enemies with high HP and strong magic resistances. Inflict certain status ailments to enemy shadows in order to nullify their capacity to fight back. This gives your party an opportunity to recover and follow-up with Technical Attacks.

2) Get Familiar with Technical Attacks

Technical Attacks are strong follow-up attacks performed against enemies afflicted with a status ailment. Technical Attacks can be triggered by:

  • Hitting a burned target Wind attacks.
  • Hitting a frozen or shocked enemy with Physical attacks.
  • Hitting a frozen, burning, or shocked enemy with Nuclear attacks.
  • Hitting afflicted targets with mental ailments (Confuse, Fear, Despair, Rage, or Brainwash) with Psychokinesis attacks.
  • Hit a sleeping or dizzied target any with any attack.

Stock on SP Recovery Items

Buying, acquiring, or creating SP regen items every week can help sustain your party during palace infiltrations and mementos explorations. Stocking on SP items is very essential early game since you don’t have access to accessories yet that can maintain your SP bar. Remember that you can only store up 99 pieces of the same item.

1) Buying SP Recovery Items

When it comes to buying SP items, visit all vending machines accessible on your map.
