Does anyone know if they plan to continue this guide?
What is going on with the November guide? I haven’t been able to continue playing for almost a week due to this delay! I don’t mind waiting but some sort of timescale update would be much appreciated.
I’d just continue playing, I didn’t want to wait so that’s what I did. Just use the old guide for day/week specific events such as the shady dealer. Do the remaining confidants when they show up and you should have like 2 weeks of extra time with all confidants maxed.
I hope that the guide does not stop halfway.
This is way off on Confidant ranks compared to the guide so far. Time to get creative, I guess. Luckily this isn’t my first rodeo with P5R.
This seems to be an older version of the guide, as confident levels do not match. Following from april since the gamepass release.

Question ive been seeing ppl say reach councilor rank 9 before november 18? But the guide tells you that you get rank 9 on the 18th. Will this mess up to get 3rd semester?

Just saying; Futabas confidant is messed up. The battle that unlocks her mementos final mission (Daughters ticket meal, I think) is AFTER defeating her uncle´s shadow (Money grubbing uncle, I think its called that mission). Then, you have to DATE HER AGAIN, to actually access said final mission. It means, TWO DAYS IN A ROW dating Futaba to unlock. Which means that, according to the guide, by the time you reach mementos in 11/8, the mission just won´t appear.
This… is a real issue, because it messes up real bad with the guides confidants and mementos missions progression. I bypassed it by sacrificing Haru´s confidant during that week, but still…
I saying this one specifically, because although the guide sometimes botches (Tae´s confidant is also messed up in a similar fashion, but at least that one is manageable, somehow…), this one is specially bad, as you need to go back in novembers first week, which means HOURS of progression. And that is, if you have the save file in a proper day to do so. which in my case I did, because I tend to save like, a frigging lot.
Aside from that, don´t get me wrong, this is a very good guide of the game. But just saying, get used to SAVE A LOT. Or this kind of things tends to happen and dampens the experience. As for me, I´m enjoying this game to the fullest, and this guide is a godsend. Thanks, and keep up the good work, because this game really deserves it.
I don’t know what you’re talking about… I had both of those missions by 11/1. I think you made a mistake.
update on this, yeah, you definitely did something wrong – I ranked her to 10 on time with no issues
if you take a look at december you have free time almost every day after the first few days to hit every confidant you missed and max them. Do not stress. The guide really needed to be followed in the beginning since social stats barred you from increase confidants but by that point you can hit everyone single one you may have missed by a point or two and not worry about missing the last semester
Apparently, I missed one level at Sojiro Confidant and I’m already at 11/6. Is it still possible to maxed out this confidant? Thx
You have more than enough free time later on.
For Haru, I had to skip her confidant rank-up on 11/5 to do the Big Bang Challenge after school and get my Guts maxed out in order to trigger Iwai’s Mementos request on 11/6. I see that according to this guide, we’re supposed to max out her confidant by 11/29. If possible, can I skip the Maid Cafe event on 11/30 to max out Haru during the day, or is it mandatory to do the Maid Cafe event and the Twins evening event? (pretty sure I had to skip another Twins evening event earlier in the guide too because of the mess up with Ann and Takemi confidants).
For 11/20 you should have “Do not accept Niijima’s deal and do not sellout your teammates” instead of “Do not accept Niijima’s deal and sellout your teammates”
It could confuse people and they may sellout their teammates.
The guide once again manages to cause issues with confidant rank ups by going romance path. I guess our cries at the summer pages for Ann and Takemi when ignored. The new victim is Ohya.However we are lucky and this time the solution is simpler .Here is the workaround I used : 1)11/15 used fortune confidant to boost up Devil affinity. Make sure to do it in the day because the evening becomes rainy
2) 11/16 Boost star as the guide says
3) 11/17 boost ohya again as the guide requests. Now for some reason I still couldnt rank up ( you would assume the 11/16 boost was enough). I decided to use the mailboxes between the theater and the supermarket that we used for hifumi and mail a card to Ohya. That 1 point was enough
I dont know if we will need those cards for the trader requests in the future but I had like 5 of them. It has also been so long since they have been available and it seems like their in game purpose is precicely that, to boost affinity.
If anyone has information if we would need those cards and therefore my solution causes issues please provide it with a comment to avoid people from using my workaround.
update : it turned out I am a blind idiot that didnt see the guide also suggested the card. In that case all you need to do is to use the affinity boost on 11/15 afternoon.

So cool, this walkthrough is wrong, so now I just don’t get to finish Iwai’s social link. Neat.
Care to provide some insight ? Because aside from the Ann-Takemi mess everyone else that claims errors forgot to do something in the past and they complain just because they cant catch up

If i follow this guide, would I encounter a problem if I choose to romance Makoto? Thank you in advance.
Not sure what happened that you can’t finish Iwai but theirs half a month of free time next month to finish whatever was missed on Iwai social link so should be fine to make it up then.
Also of those who are going friendship with Ohya like me and miss the call just see Chihaya Tuesday 11/15 Morning to get +2 Devil and that fixes in for a little money.
I’m on day 11/17, as with Takemi with Ohya I had to get engaged with them, making friends with me they sent me to that country and I didn’t master the social at level 10, I had this same problem with the previous version of Persona 5.
Since their relationships with other people are very difficult, you have to go there with romance to unlock them both.
I am sorry but this is plain wrong info. You absolutely do NOT have to romance neither Takemi or Ohya in order to reach rank 10. Its just that the guide goes romance path to save time with extra points. He did the same with Ann on July. We have already found workarounds both of them. As with Ohya, this time fortune confidant is ranked up therefore you can simply boost Ohya with the affinity service and voila, all ready
Why does it say to sellout your teammates?
I think the writer means “Do not accept Niijimas deal WHICH IS TO sell out your teammates”
11/25 – I’ve been doing the crosswords every day so far, but I don’t see one on the 25th or the 26th.
11/22: I didn’t have the batting cages shortcut, and it made me spend time to read the Yoncha Walker 04 book. Not sure if activating that shortcut would make this book work like the others. All the unread books I have at this point are:

11/19 – I’m not sure why the guide says to use physical/gun against the boss here? They’re resistant to physical/gun, electric, and block psy. Queen’s Concentrate and Freidyne (and including Matarukaja) do a big ol chunk of damage. Maybe they have different resistances if you never have someone shoot one of the shots to transform the boss?
Is their a reason why I didn’t get a phone call on 11/14 from Ohya? Because I need it in order to rank up my devil confidant and this guide says I should get one even if I don’t romance her.
I’ve been wondering about that too. I chose to be friends with Ohya and followed the guide but couldn’t rank 10 before stealing Sae’s treasure.

11/2 – If Haru hasn’t sent you a phone message, go up to the Rooftop at the school and talk to her there.
On 11/8 the guide says to max out the stamps invested into Money and XP (duh) and then invest into items. But I’m not even sure that’s possible. Having gathered every stamp available I only get to 160% XP after maxing Money; with three left over.

No, the guide’s incorrect. With all the stamps up to Adyeshach, with maxed out money, the best XP bonus you can do is +160%.
With this guide at some point dunno why but i’m 1 date late for futaba .. i’ve to go mementos when the guide say futaba 8 – 9 … anyone know when can i get the other date without beein late for another date ?
For those who didn’t level up their guts on 11/1, change out the “Woman in the Dark” book with the Hero with a Bow” book and read that on the train the next morning instead of the Chinatown book. Those +3 guts points were enough to get me up to lvl 5. Just don’t forget to take back the other book from the library the next day. Hope this helped.
So it says to do Futaba’s Metaverse/Mementos quest on 11/6, so are we supposed to the rest of what we can in Mementos too? Because other quests are required before you even get to hers. The guide hasn’t had you go into Mementos.
Her’s is a special request that is part of her confident. You can’t do it by going to Mementos normally. Talk to her like normal and you will be warped right to the Shadow, fight, win and then warp back in a single span of time.
I was short on guts as well for iwa, but i realized i had a save file on sunday before that event and i went to shibuya drink station and it gave me the final guts that i needed. I didnt think the drink will give me guts but it did. hope this works out for everyone as well.

Anyone needing the extra Guts, I returned Milady on 11/4, and grabbed Robin Hood, and read that instead of Nanako, and then returned and got Milady after class on 11/5, and then on 11/11 read Nanako, and on 11/16 read Milady
Actually, it’s probably better to read Milady on 11/11 like it asks, and then Nanako on 11/16
Guts don’t go up on 11/1
Is there a way around the Iwai 7 > 7.5 since Guts is not currently at Rank 5?

Actually looked this up. You have to be Rank 8 by November 18th as Rank 9 and 10 are story based.

11/12 – Can’t hang out with Chihaya
In the fight against akechi at rank 8 he was extremely fragile and didn’t do any damage to me. Is that a bad sign or did I get extremely lucky with the dodges?
This guide is wrong about guts level couldn’t do the mission for hanged because guts was too low.
Same happened with mine. I believe they messed up as a result of the Drink in October that they listed as Guts but was actually Charm if I recall.
What i did is i replaced the day i was suppose to hangout with Haru with going to the big bang and doing the challenge again, because she doesn’t have any missions in momentos at that time.. So you can do Iwai.
For some reason I cant start haru’s confidant. She just tells me that we should send the calling card and then ends the conversation. No matter what I do I fant start it, any reason why?
You’ve probably figured it out already but I’m going to respond anyway just in case anyone else runs into this problem, but you need to gather at the Hideout first. Sending the calling card will be put off until the 18th, after which you can leave the Hideout and Haru will then be available.
Are you sure about Akechi’s rank 7? I read in some websites that we should choose 3: “You are my rival” for the sixth choice.
It could be choice #1 or choice #3. What’s important is that you don’t pick #2.
