Hecate is the evolved form of Ann Tamaki’s persona, Carmen.
Hecate is a popular chthonic goddess. Her tales originate among the Carians of Anatolia. Even in the historical accounts, Hecate has different names such as Hecataeus and Hectomnus. She remains a Great Goddess among her members in a cult in Lagina. While many researchers favor her Anatolian origins, some argue that she may have been a Greek Goddess.
In Greek mythology, Hecate is the goddess of Ice and Magic. She is one of the generals of the underworld where she consults with Hades.
