Fortune Telling
Fortune telling is an optional activity that can be done once a day at the booth in Shinjuku. In contrast to other activities, having your fortune read does not spend any activity points. On days that don’t have rainy weather, you can approach Chihaya the fortune-teller in the afternoon, after school, or in the evening. She appears on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
You can request for an affinity reading to have Chihaya reduce the amount of time you need to spend with the chosen confidant. Bring a persona that shares the arcana of the confidant you wish to avail of the affinity reading to maximize gains. The effect appears after unlocking Rank 6 of the Fortune confidant.

Version Differences
The fortune reading for the latter ranks vary based on the version you’re currently playing. In Persona 5 Royal, not only did the order switch but the fate ability has been replaced by the true fate ability.
If affinity reading triggers a confidant rank up event, Chihaya will inform you in the session. In addition, if the persona’s arcana matches the confidant you can earn up to +2 gains.
Below is a list of fortune-telling services, confidant rank, cost, abilities, and the order that they appear. Some of the abilities have their names in rough translation. We will update this when the game comes out in North America.

It does pass time…I don’t know where all this false information is coming from.
The first example is when it says go straight home for money. It wasted the entire night and automatically went to the next day.
This guide doesn’t really explain much? Seems to just list the abilities but doesn’t go into detail with how they work.
For example, Luck Reading? If I purchase that, do I have to actually have a social stat raise that day for it to work or will it just randomly raise one?
Do you get multiple stat boost if you do the Luck reading on same day. Ex) do a kindness and knowledge reading then go do a crossword and feed plant.
Do you get multiple stat boost if you do the Luck reading 2 times on same day. Ex) do a kindness and knowledge reading then go do a crossword and feed plant.
Ok.
