Personality

Based on the trailers, Kasumi Yoshizawa is a kind-hearted individual who is playful toward other people, like the Protagonist. She is also someone who doesn’t give up and enjoys eating.

In addition, Kasumi seems to have a deeper interaction with the detective prince, Goro Akechi. This is more likely due to her not being a fan of the Phantom Thieves‘ methods.

Same with the Protagonist, Kasumi Yoshizawa is a transfer student to Shujin Academy. She received a scholarship from the academy and is a promising rhythmic gymnast since middle school. Despite Kasumi’s outstanding track record in academic and extra curricular activities, she shares hidden doubts and fears with the other Phantom Thieves.

Eventually, her powers to awaken personas mysteriously triggers. Even though she knows about Joker’s rumors, Kasumi grew fond of him. However, nobody knows if her admiration to him meant anything at all and if it did, how far does it go for her to join the Phantom Thieves.

As a fellow Phantom Thief, she wears a black mask together with a black strapless leotard and a matching jacket. Her melee weapon is a rapier while her ranged weapon is a lever action pistol.

Kasumi’s initial persona is Cendrillon, and her Arcana is The Faith. Cendrillon is the name of a matured French play adaptation of the classic tale of Cinderella by Charles Perrault. While the Faith Arcana is a representation of a non-standard tarot deck from “The Visconti-Sforza.” The Arcana also shares imagery from the Hierophant Arcana.
