Interview with Shigenori Soejima May Have Inadvertently Revealed Personal 5 Royal’s Release Month

Persona Central, a popular fan site for the JRPG series, was able to uncover new information about Persona 5 Royal’s English version release. The fan site was able to acquire a copy of Game Informer’s November 2019 issue that featured an interview with the series’ character designer, Shigenori Soejima. Based on the interview, Persona 5 Royal is scheduled for a March 2020 release.

If this information is legitimate, it would mean that Persona 5 Royal will have to compete with other high profile game releases. Particularly, the likes of  Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Watch Dogs: Legion, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
