Shadow Isshiki Strategy

Shadow Isshiki has about 3,000 HP and access to the skills Fast Heal, Rising Slash, Megidola, and Tarukaja. He is immune to instant death attacks, rage, and despair.

The main character will fight Shadow Isshiki alone. The enemy is susceptible to burn, freeze, shock, dizzy, confusion, fear, forget, sleep, and brainwash. It is recommended to use persona that can resist physical attacks. Doing so makes the battle significantly easier as Shadow Isshiki mainly uses physical skills.

  1. I used Daisoujou for this. What I did was use Tarukaja to increase my attack and used Makouga and took him down in 4 or 5 moves. Also, I’m at level 55. Hope this helps someone.

  2. Just leaving this as a warning to people not to make mistake: definitely make sure your Persona RESISTS Phys, not repels it. If it does the latter, the Shadow spams Megidola. Also, while the guide says that it is susceptible to those status effects, he recovers from them immediately so they don’t actually have any effect.

    • Big thanks to Lyzz, that was a huge hint. Won easily with a level 33 Neko Shogun with Masukukaja (increase evasion) after losing repeatedly with many other stronger ones. Bad guy could only hit me once out of 10 attacks or so.
