Tips and Tricks: How To Max Out Social Confidants [Persona 5]

This article contains tips and tricks on how to max out the social confidants.

Max Out Social Confidants

If you want to gain the most powerful persona and the strongest persona, you’ll need to max out the social confidant. When you max it out, not only does Igor’s Social Confidant help with Arcana Burst but it also helps in unlocking other persona. Certain social confidants allow you to unlock certain persona. However, this is quite complicated to do. Especially since you’re juggling the palace and the other features in the game. But no need to worry; here are some ways to max out social confidants easily.

Take down the Palace early

Believe it or not, taking down the Palace early can save you a lot of time. If you can secure the infiltration route in one day then, so much the better. After that, you can choose when to send in your card. On a personal note, I usually send it the day after. However, I do it after I’ve gained some healing items. Because once you send the card, the treasure appears and you only have one shot. This means, you’re going to fight the boss directly after.

Mementos Requests

When doing the Mementos Request, make sure you can do it one day. A little trick I learned while playing the game was that I cleared all the way to the last floor. Once I reach the lowest floor, it’ll be easier to find the place where the request is instead of wasting your time running around. Not only that, you get additional exp and you’ll have to make up the time that you could have spent maxing out your parameters.

Max out your Parameters

Just like any other Persona game, the social confidants require a certain level in the parameters to continue on. Some social confidants such as the Priestess, Star, and the Lovers are examples that require a specific parameter. Because of this, it’s wise that when you finish the palaces, focus on maxing out the parameters. Some social confidants thankfully occur at night however, max out your parameters first. That way, you can easily speed through the other social confidants.

Bring a persona matching the confidant

It may seem to take up space but having a persona match that specific confidant can help. For example, if you want to max out the Moon Social Confidant, bring a persona from the Moon Arcana. That way, you’ll have an easier time in trying to max out the social confidant. The persona doesn’t necessarily have to be useful in combat. You can bring any persona just as long as it falls under that particular arcana.

  1. ironically you gave moon as an example for one to bring a matching persona to, despite it being one of the few that doesn’t require a matching persona. it’ll always rank up, seemingly, and is only limited in requests done.
