William Persona and How to Fuse in Persona 5 Royal
William is a Third-Tier Ultimate Persona exclusive to Ryuji Sakamoto or Skull in Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal. This Persona belongs to the Chariot Arcana.
William Overview
William is inspired by “William Kidd,” the Scottish privateer of the 17th century that became a notorious pirate. He earned the reputation of an outlaw when his fellows plundered a ship without him knowing.
While most of his traits are the same as those of Ryuji’s initial persona, Captain Kidd, there are a couple of differences. William forgoes tattered pirate clothes in exchange for a punk outfit that is very similar to Ryuji’s heist outfit. This is even more apparent through the yellow on parts of William’s design. Other than that, he no longer rides a ship and instead pilots a modern-day yacht.
He stepped down from being a noble and joined the ranks of pirates. They sailed the seas and brought disturbance in medieval Europe. Some say that the funds came from his fellows which paved the way for his expeditions.
