Haru Okumura’s New Tag Team Attack and New Slice-of-Life Event Revealed

Following Futaba Sakura’s character trailer,  Atlus Japan posted its next trailer last July 26th that featured the beauty thief, Haru Okumura. Haru is the Phantom Thieves’ seventh member and has the codename, Noir. She is a third-year student at Shujin Academy, similar to Makoto Niijima.

Inokashira Park Clean-up

The character trailer started at the Inokashira Park clean-up event with Haru approaching the Moon confidant, Yuuki Mishima. She asked for the caps of the bottles Mishima collected during the cleanup since she believes it can be recycled as a material for medicine. It can be noted that Haru was not named and labeled as “a 3rd year who seems like an adult,” not formally introduced to the Phantom Thieves at the time of the even. We also observed Mishima’s increasing fascination with the Phantom Thieves through his referring to Haru’s action as an “act of justice.”

Haru’s Tag Team Attack Showcased

The next scene focused on how Haru develops her showtime tag-team attack together with Morgana. She visited the Protagonist’s room and shared her ideas with Mona in detail.

The tag team attack started with Mona in his car form driving toward the enemy while Haru aimed her grenade launcher.

After landing the hit, Haru jumped and landed on the pavement in her beauty thief pose.

Then, Morgana fell from above and was knocked out from the explosion.

Additional Slice-of-Life Event for Haru

The last scene was set in the third semester and featured Haru’s father, Kunikazu Okumura. Surprisingly, the current president of Okumura Foods was friendly to the Protagonist. He even jokes about Haru having a boyfriend, which is a total opposite of the stern and controlling personality he shows in Persona 5. Same with the others, this event might also be a dreamscape since Haru’s father didn’t survive their Okumura Palace infiltration.
