Goro Akechi Character Trailer Featured New Cutscenes and New Outfits

Goro Akechi’s character trailer was released on Atlus Japan’s channel around a month ago. Having eventually joined the Phantom Thieves, Goro bears the codename Crow.

The video opened with Akechi telling Joker that he has time to play a game and prompted him to respond. Joker chose to mention that Akechi should be busy. After hearing Joker’s response, a couple of musical appeared to indicate that the answer boosted his confidant ranking. During Akechi’s turn, he managed to pull off a neat trick.

We then saw the two having a conversation over some coffee at “Miel et Crêpes.” Akechi confessed that he won’t be able to deceive anyone even if he tried to wear Joker’s glasses. Again, his statement caused Joker to react. Here, Joker dared him to try it out and see for himself. The screen faded and we then found a bespectacled Akechi sitting still. Passers-by couldn’t help but notice the transformation. The short experiment proved Akechi wrong and showed that he can fool others.

Play as Akechi’s true form

We also got a glimpse of Akechi’s dashing heist outfit. Instead of wearing his white royal uniform, he was wearing another outfit. It consisted of a navy blue suit embellished with charcoal stripes. To complement his outfit, Akechi was accompanied by his true persona. In the trailer, we saw Akechi command Loki to use Laevatein, an almighty element skill that deals massive damage, on shadow Nebiros to instantly defeat it.

Conversation at the Construction Site

In the last part of the video, Akechi made a deal with Joker to meet once again at an unknown construction site. He left Joker by saying that the conversation would be different if Joker decided to continue living in the current reality with his friends.
