Lakshmi

Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of wealth, prosperity, and fortune. In a sense, she is similar to the Roman Goddess Fortuna. She is the wife and Shakti of the god Vishnu. She is an important deity in Jainism. She stands as the goddess among the many Jain temples.

Lakshmi is the goddess of abundance and fortune n Buddhism. She is represented on the oldest and surviving stupas of the cave temples dedicated to Buddhism. For the other sects of Buddhism, she is referred to as Vasudhara, but with minor iconic differences.
