Stone of Scone
Also known as the Stone of Destiny, the Stone of Scone exists in Gaelic mythology. In England, it’s also known as the Coronation Stone. For many years, this oblong block of red sandstone was used in the coronation of the monarchs. The monarchs of Scotland, and later the monarchs of England and the Kingdom of Great Britain, used this particular relic for coronations.
The last time this relic was used was in the coronation of Queen Elizabeth. The legend behind the stone involves the first king of Scotland, Fergus. When he first arrived in Scotland, people crowned him as he stood upon it.

First off I would like to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your head prior to writing. I have had difficulty clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out there. I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or hints? Kudos!
