Cendrillon

A persona that represents the Faith Arcana. Cendrillon belongs to the transfer student and rhythmic gymnast Kasumi Yoshizawa. Even though her beliefs don’t coincide with the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, she eventually joins the group for her own reasons.

Cendrillon is the french adaptation of the classic tale Cinderella by Charles Perrault. The tale gave birth to multiple operas such as Cendrillon by Jules Massenet and Henri Cain. Cendrillon follows the tale of a lovely woman who is coerced into serving as a maid for her cruel stepmother. Her true name is not Cendrillon, this a moniker given by her stepfamily. The name comes from the ash or cendre which she was often covered with while resting near the fireplace for warmth.

Kasumi’s persona is the silhouette of a lovely woman with a downy cape. Its dress is adorned with brightly gleaming glass, each figure adds an air of mystery. Cendrillon also bears a mysterious clock on her chest.
