Daisoujou

Daisoujou belongs to the Hierophant Arcana. This Persona is based on Buddhist mummies, the Sokushinbutsu.

These Buddhist monks perform self-mummification by starving themselves for three years. At the end of three years, they will be entombed alive in a room where they sit cross-legged. IF the body of the monk is perfectly preserved, they will be revered as a god.
