Clotho

Clotho is the youngest of the three Fates. She and her two sisters, Lachesis and Atropos, manage the strings of life that flow for all mortals. As the youngest of all the Fates, she deals with the beginning of life. Clotho is the one responsible for threading life and deciding when one should be born. She is also one of the goddesses that have a say on who dies and who lives. In this aspect, she may be stronger than both of her sisters.

As one of the three fates, despite her position as the youngest, her mythology is pretty immense. It is she who granted the Greeks their alphabet with Hermes. However, her main story focuses on her role as one of the Fates. She is also the one who decided to resurrect Pelops after he was chopped up and boiled by his father.
