This persona is based on the Jack-o-Lantern, a fabled figure who came from the tale called “Stingy Jack.” The story of “Stingy Jack” is about an Irish farmer who persuaded the devil not to take him to hell. However, he was not allowed into heaven either, and so was forced to wander the earth. In modern times, the Jack-o-Lantern serves as a symbol for Halloween.
