Vohu Manah

Vohu Manah is a concept in Zoroastrianism. The term comes from two words, vohu which means “good” and manah which translates to “mind.” It belongs to one of the six beneficent immortals made by the Wise Lord, Ahura Mazda. In the doctrine, those who wish to face the Wise Lord must call upon Vohu Manah. Its sacred animal consists of cattle which represents “goodness that nourishes.”

In some myths Vohu Manah is male, whereas in others the concept falls under the neutral gender. Its opposite, Aka Manah, means the evil mind.

Vohu Manah is the Councillor Arcana’s ultimate form.
