Pazuzu

Known as the Southwest Wind god, Pazuzu delivers two different plagues depending on the season. The first is famine for the dry season, and the second is locusts for the wet season. His power was claimed to be contained in amulets to run counter to the magic of the malicious goddess and sworn enemy, Lamashtu.

Despite being seen as a hostile malevolent spirit, he repels others of his kind, guarding human beings from potential disasters.
